Grants - Giving the gift of education
The District 50 Education Foundation provides Creativity Grants to advance the educational experience of Adams County School District 50 students. Over $18,000 is awarded each year to students, staff and teachers. The Foundation grants directly respond to specific classroom needs enabling students to learn in unique, creative ways. Although funding is granted for many different programs, the most important criteria when selecting grant recipients is the impact it will have on student achievement.
Employee Education Grant - in memory of Don Ciancio

All employees are eligible to apply for a new Education Grant available from District 50 Education Foundation. The grant will help fund a class taken by a certified or classified employee (non-probationary) wishing to advance their education. The grant will average $500 to be used for pursuit of Associate Degree, any advance degree classes, professional license or other training that will be beneficial in your position with the school district. The grant may not be applied towards re-licensure classes. Grants will apply to class work taken after June 1, 2008. Fill out the application now.

Grants are awarded in the fall and early spring of each year. Those eligible to apply for the grant include teachers, staff and parents groups such as the PTA. Each grant is generally under $500 each. To apply, use the grant application form and submit to:

Special Grants

These grants are received on an as-needed basis and
can be submitted by anyone with children in
the district. The grant needs to specifically impact the education of children in the District. Review of submitted grants will take place during the next scheduled board meeting.
